Why Integrative Kidney Institute Exists
Kidney disease rarely exists in isolation.

Dr. Majd Isreb founded the Integrative Kidney Institute to bring a broader, evidence-based perspective to kidney health.
With more than two decades of experience in nephrology and certification in functional medicine, his work connects established kidney care with evolving evidence across nutrition, lifestyle, genetics, environmental health, the gut–kidney axis, and pharmacologic therapy.
His approach is grounded in a simple principle: expanding the questions we ask about kidney disease should strengthen—not replace—the scientific foundations of nephrology.
Dr. Isreb is also editor of Integrative Nephrology—A Systems-Based Approach to Modern Kidney Care, published by Springer Nature.
